When CD Projekt RED revealed the teaser trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, it was met with a surge of interest from the gaming community. The intense trailer contained a lot of striking visuals along with tons of hidden messages in the background. CD Projekt RED released another video featuring Mike Pondsmith.
In this behind-the-scenes video, he discusses his inspiration for Cyberpunk 2077, the pen-and-paper RPG, Cyberpunk. It’s an informative look at how CD Projekt RED is going about building the world of Cyberpunk 2077.
If you watch closely at the end of the teaser trailer, CD Projekt RED put in a secret message. The red text on black background isn’t the easiest to read, but the developer states that the game is scheduled for 2015, but will be released “when it’s done.” Another hidden message is that they are currently looking to expand their development team.
The teaser trailer looks amazing and ambitious. It’s going to be a long waiting game until the final release and by then, Cyberpunk 2077 could be an entirely different experience other than the one teased so far.
There is also another announcement that the developer will be making on February 5, 2013. CD Projekt RED will reveal another game that will be “a fully open-world game” like Cyberpunk 2077.
